China: Falling Hard for Web 2.0

The article discusses how homegrown internet social networking web site companies, like Myspace.com and Youtube.com, are being developed in China. Heavy regulation by the Chinese government has made it very difficult for these web sites to establish themselves, even though there is a large want and desire for them by young Chinese web users. Myspace.com is in negotiations to set up a Chinese language version of the web site.
